Julie practises exclusively as a Family law Practitioner.

She appears before the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and less frequently before the High Court. She practices in Liverpool and is willing to travel to all areas of the country as required.

Julie covers all areas of family practice and represents all parties to proceedings as instructed. She acts regularly on behalf of various Local Authority applicants and also represent children through their guardians.

In Private Law matters she conducts cases in respect of Residence, Contact, Prohibited Steps and Specific Issues Orders.

In Public Law matters she conducts all cases relating to Public Law proceedings including Emergency Protection Orders, Interim Care Orders, Placement Orders and Adoption Orders.

Julie also conducts cases in respect of applications brought under the Family Law Act including most regularly Occupation Orders and Non Molestation Orders and committal proceedings.

Having practised as a solicitor prior to being called to the Bar in 2007Julie considers she has furnished herself with a better understanding of the professional client and the requirement to report back in a timely fashion with clear information and advice for the on-going management of the case.
