Professional Profile

Scarlett joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2023 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision and guidance of Amanda Howard, Carl Gorton and Christine Johnson. During this time, Scarlett gained experience across a wide range of family law proceedings, at all levels, up to and including the High Court.

Scarlett graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Law with Spanish, having completed a year abroad in Córdoba, Spain. Scarlett speaks Spanish fluently and has a particular interest in linguistics and sociolinguistics. Following university, Scarlett obtained a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn and completed the BPTC at BPP Manchester.

Before commencing pupillage, Scarlett worked as a county court advocate, as well as a family law paralegal.
